BIDSANTO Scholarships for Girl Students

A lot of girl students from economically weaker families in rural villages are not able to complete their school education. There is also a general lack of interest among the families to spend money of girl education. GetUp wants to promote bright girl students to continue their education and develop interest in other extra-curricular activities. To achieve that, we started BIDSANTO Scholarship program that provides money to deserving students. Since 2019, provided cash scholarships of INR 10K each to 9 girls students. GetUp directly reaches out to schools or organizations and make them aware of the program. School administration then shortlist the students based on their academic performance and economic situation. We always have more girl students than we have scholarships. You can also pledge a contribution of any amount which can help promote girl education.
